MySQL Magic Link Onboarding Template

The email template below provides your team with the needed details to configure the magic link for your customer and previews the configuration process for your customer.

Please ensure to attach a PDF copy of the destination configuration guide from Prequel in your email/message, which you can find in white-label friendly markdown here: Destinations Overview.

Template

Setup to begin receiving data to your MySQL will consist of the following. Please ensure to read to the end as we’ll need a couple details from you to help you get started:

  1. You will provide secure access to your MySQL with the attached configuration guide.

    1. In short, it consists of creating a dedicated service user and scoping its permissions to read the required tables.

  2. We will send your team a magic link where you’ll directly enter the required MySQL details mentioned at the bottom of the configuration script.

  3. During this step, you’ll test the connection to ensure permissions are sufficient for transfers. If you run into any permissions issues, please reach out and we’re happy to help.

That’s it! Once the magic link has been completed successfully, you will begin receiving transfers of the configured tables.
